This song is about warrior, who decided to live peaceful life. But the past is returning for him to bring him back to war.

The vocal line was written before the music. So writing music was a challenge for me.

To end up with my past
To start new life
To get a home
To get the long-awaited rest
The woman that I want
Accepts me as I am
She brings me home
She births me child
And never gives a blame

I've thought I finally free
But past caught me up
Does not let me breath

Just leave me alone
I want to move on
Forget all my past
And to carve it in stone
But it's haunting me
No matter I did
It keeps coming back
Like old wound that bleeds

But you can't run away from past
Just turn the page forever
The peace outside it can't long last
If inside war eternal

They came to me from long ago
To bring me back to slaughter
I used to live and breathe the war
Now threats my wife and daughter

I should return
Make save them both
My duty to protect them
